Artist in Residence at Leeds City College

Very excited to be the new artist /  creative in Residence at Leeds City College! I've been there nearly 2 months and have already learnt so much!

Pictures from my residency at The Art House Wakefield

I thought I'd post some pictures of the work I made at The Art House... I was inspired by the aggressive graffiti written on the walls in Wakefield - in contrast to the peaceful beautiful studio inside the The Art House. The juxtaposition of the appropriated words painted onto household objects renders them humorous, especially written on such ordinary familiar objects. But if you recognise the subject matter (the EU referendum in 2016) there is a darker twist to the work.

Serf Studio

I've recently joined Serf Studios and set up my studio there! Really excited to be working with the other Serfers and Getting involved with an artist led studio space! This year is going to be the year I can feel it!!!
